Best engineering colleges in Bangalore

Which college to choose?

This is for all those who have finished their PU exams and CET by this time and would be wondering which college and course to join.

(note: always give course a higher priority than the college)

Coming to the question of "which course to join?", select something in which you are really interested, don't go by the trends.

For example,I was interested in "computer science and engineering(CSE)", not because of the fact that I would be called a software engineer in another 4years, but only because I am passionate about programming. I had very good CS teachers during my PUC. I learnt the basics very well. I love to write programs on my own. I don't find studying any topics related to computer science stressful. In fact, I enjoy learning them!

Therefore it is always better to select a course in which you have great interest. Don't worry about the kind of college you might get for that course.

Coming to the question of "which college to join?", select a decent college which is closer to your house. By doing this you can save a lot of time on traveling. And it's the matter of 4 years. Just think of how much time you might waste traveling to a college that is more than 6 Km from your house, and you need to travel so much twice a day for the next 4 years.

Do not worry about the college rank, worry about your rank in the college you join.
Once you join a college, take care that you make good friends and get into a better friends circle.
